Big news for creators on the go – Adobe is officially bringing Premiere to iPhones, launching on September 30.

What to expect:

  • Trim, layer, and fine-tune frames just like the desktop version
  • Automatic captions with stylised subtitles (yes, accessibility win!)
  • Support for video, audio, and text layers
  • Export in 4K HDR without those annoying watermarks

This is a huge step for mobile-first creators, and it could make high-quality editing more accessible to everyone. We’ll be watching closely to see how the app stacks up against TikTok and CapCut, which have long dominated the mobile editing game.

(2/8) TikTok Adds Audio + Video Features to DMs

TikTok has rolled out new DM features, letting you:

  • Send one-minute voice notes
  • Share videos and images in both 1:1 and group chats

With private messaging on the rise across all platforms, this brings TikTok more in line with the likes of Instagram and WhatsApp. For brands and creators, this means another chance to connect beyond the algorithm.

(3/8) Instagram Tests Picture-in-Picture Reels

Instagram is testing PiP viewing for Reels, meaning you’ll be able to keep watching while scrolling through your phone. TikTok and YouTube already offer this, so Instagram is clearly playing catch-up.

Will this keep audiences watching longer, or just add to the multitasking chaos?

Either way, for creators it means more eyeballs sticking with your content while people hop between apps 👀

(4/8) Accessible Music Festival Coming To Northampton

A first-of-its-kind event is coming to Northampton!

NN Fest, organised by Mo Sounds and Events in collaboration with accessibility campaigner Nick Wilson, is set to take over Delapré Abbey on 20th September (12:00–22:00 BST).

The day brings together live music and accessible adventure experiences from Wilson’s Access Outdoors initiative – showing how festivals can (and should) be for everyone.

We’ll be keeping an eye on this one 👀

(5/8) LinkedIn : Posting Frequency = More Reach

A bar graph from Buffer showing that as your number of weekly posts shared increases, so does your average reach per post.

Ever wondered how much you should actually be posting on LinkedIn? According to Buffer’s new analysis of 2M posts, the answer is: more than you think.

  • 2–5 posts per week = +1k impressions per update
  • 6–10 posts per week = +5k impressions per update
  • 11+ posts per week = +16k impressions per update

Of course, frequency and quality matter, no one wants to see spammy posts.

But the data is clear: consistency fuels the algorithm. If you’re trying to grow your LinkedIn presence, showing up regularly is the way forward.

(6/8) Instagram Expands DM Management

IG is making it easier to tame your inbox chaos. New features include:

  • Inbox filters (Story replies, Unread, Followers, Verified, etc.)
  • Customisable shortcuts at the top of your inbox
  • The ability to create your own DM folders

This gives creators and brands more control over how they manage incoming messages and for anyone running a busy account, this will be a real time-saver.

(7/8) Trend Spotlight: Personal Curriculums

@classicallyclare

School’s back in session: my fall 25 personal curriculum topic is… 🖤Heroes & Villains Hot off the heels of reading The Master & Margarita, where the devil is presented, not as an evil being, but one that reveals and reflects the evils of humanity… I grew interested in the tension between good and evil. One can’t exist without the other, so where is the line drawn? Because the traits that make someone a hero in a story can easily lend themselves to being painted as a villain, too. So from now until 2026, i’ll be exploring this theme through selected readings. I’m planning on all of this culminating into an end of semester report on my Substack. 👀 #booktok #personalcurriculum #bookrecommendations #classicliterature #readingrecommendations

Back-to-school energy is hitting TikTok, but not in the way you think.

Creators are making “personal curriculums”, setting intentional goals from fitness routines to creative habits.

It’s less of a passing trend and more of a self-improvement movement – perfect for brands in lifestyle, wellness, or education to tap into. Think challenges, templates, or brand-led “curriculums” that audiences can adopt and make their own.

(8/8) Campaign Spotlight: Waitrose & Partners Better Chicken Standards

An out-of-home advertisement in a billboard on a street with text that reads "we check check check your chicken," followed by a long list of every chicken product that Waitrose sells. This list is so long that it extends out the bottom of the billboard. A member of the public admires this work up close.

Sometimes less really is more.

Waitrose has launched an OOH campaign that’s literally just… a list of chicken products.

Why? To show just how many of their products meet the Better Chicken standards.

It’s simple, it’s confident, and it lands the message without overthinking it.
