Influencer Marketing

The disability-focused influencer marketing agency. There is no better way to engage and market to the disabled community than through the community itself. By harnessing the voices of those within the community, we can communicate honest and natural narratives around disability whilst driving data-driven, proven results.

What is Influencer Marketing?

Influencer marketing is an incredible way for us to utilise the lived experience of the community and combine it with powerful storytelling and authenticity to connect brands to their audience.

Influencers (or ‘creators’ as we prefer to say) create original, creative and educational content that outperforms traditional marketing methods, and provides an opportunity for brands to connect and engage with their audiences in a new and dynamic way.

The disabled community is the largest minority in the world.
Now is the time to create campaigns that reflect that.

Influencer Marketing and Disability

Just 0.06% of adverts showcase disability, and with approximately 20% of the population identifying as having one – that’s an incredibly large disparity in representation that needs to be addressed. The largest minority in the world is not reflected in the ads they see.

Influencer Marketing adds the authenticity and human touch that was missing from traditional advertising by utilising the voices of the community themselves. Working with disabled creators ensures we can amplify your brand to the 1.3 billion-strong disabled community and beyond while providing better value than ever.

Purple Goat is the world’s only influencer-first disability-focused marketing agency, with campaigns and relationships with disabled creators across 30+ territories worldwide. Leaning on our incredible network of diverse talent, we curate and produce diverse and progressive campaigns to drive better disability representation as well as business results.

How we work with our clients

At Purple Goat, we believe that the key to success is collaboration with our clients. We work closely with brands to understand their goals, target audience, and overall vision. Our team provides clear communication throughout the entire process, removing the stress and uncertainty that can come with influencer marketing.

We understand that disability marketing can be intimidating for some brands that’s why we ensure transparency for our clients, offering a helping hand as well as ensuring throughout that our clients have an understanding of what we are doing, as well as why we are doing it.

Of course, metrics and goals are essential when it comes to marketing. That’s why we work with you to establish what metrics are important for your brand, whether it’s brand awareness, engagement, or conversions, our team will tailor your campaign to meet your specific goals.

Influencer Marketing FAQs

Does Purple Goat only work with disabled influencers?

We predominantly work with disabled influencers as we are always ensuring that brands are targeting and connecting with the community. But occasionally we will activate non-disabled influencers on a campaign too! We typically work with creators that are allies and advocates for inclusion, diversity and representation.

What social media platforms do you use?

We work across all social media platforms but it will vary depending on the campaign, client/brand and creator.

How do you vet influencers?

When we are choosing to work with an influencer, there are a few different checks that we run to make sure that the influencer/creator is a natural fit for the brand and campaign. We’ll look at a few different metrics, your Purple Goat contact will be able to talk you through what we need and why we need it. We ultimately want to make sure that both the brand and the influencer/creator are aligned on values and messaging, to make sure both are benefitting from collaborating.

Can I apply to be an influencer you work with?

Although we work with many creators across the world and many different campaigns, we are not a talent agency, so we don’t have any talent on our ‘books’. Instead, we play matchmaker and find the right talent for the right campaign!

Please feel free to follow our socials and contact us if you are interested with working with Purple Goat. We’ll keep your details for any suitable campaigns that come through, and if we think you would be a great fit for any project, we’ll get in touch with you and discuss the opportunity.

How does influencer marketing integrate with my other digital marketing channels?

It integrates naturally within your channels, depending on where you post regularly and what you like to post about. Working on campaigns and with brands that you can be a natural advocate is really important in your audience and community trusting you and the information that you’re sharing.

What countries and languages do Purple Goat agency work in and cover?

We are a global agency and so far have worked in 30+ countries! Depending on the client and objectives we source the relevant creators and deliver what is needed.

Why should I use Purple Goat over another influencer marketing agency?

Purple Goat is an international media agency like no other. We pride ourselves on exceptional creative, content and campaigns whilst also confidently representing and communicating a narrative in and around disability in everything we do.

Over 50% of our staff have a disability, and we look to crush outdated misconceptions and fears around disability with all who work with us, whilst up-skilling partners and clients on accessibility, inclusion and DE&I in the process.

We bring the authentic lived experience of disability to our creative and our execution – and passionately look to empower the disabled community shine online.
