Welcome back 🙌
Another week of incredible news and platform updates you need to know about!
Here’s what we’re talking about this week:
1 in 5 people are neurodivergent.
So why does advertising still feel like it’s speaking to such a narrow version of the world?
In our latest article for Creativebrief , our Design Manager, Luke Trower, breaks this down challenging brands to rethink not just how neurodivergent people are represented, but how they’re included from the very start.
Definitely worth the read!

Over on Instagram, Adam Mosseri shut down a popular “hack”.
Reposting your feed post to Stories won’t boost your reach. It’s a reminder that there’s no real shortcut here. Platforms are getting smarter, and ultimately, content either connects or it doesn’t.
As Mosseri said: “You can definitely share your own post to your Stories, or re-share your own post, but it’s not going to meaningfully change your reach overall, because Feed generally gets more reach than Stories anyway, and you can’t really re-post your own thing because it was already posted, so it won’t really change the eligibility.”

TikTok is continuing to double down on creators, this time partnering with Cameo to let users sell personalised videos directly in-app.
It’s another step towards making content creation a more sustainable career, and opening up more opportunities for a wider range of voices to be seen and heard.

Meanwhile, YouTube is testing bulk comment likes to help creators keep up with engagement.
It makes sense from a scale perspective, but it does make you wonder where the line is between genuine interaction and something that just looks like it 👀

Another interesting Instagram update, Creators can now schedule Trial Reels, testing content with new audiences before pushing it out more widely.
It feels like a shift towards a more “test and learn” mindset, less pressure to get it perfect, more focus on evolving what works.

LEGO teamed up with Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé, Lionel Messi and Vinícius Júnior – pulling in over 200 million views. Big names definitely help, but what really stands out is how it taps into global culture in a way that feels made to be shared ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The campaign, titled “Everyone Wants a Piece,” features the players assembling a brick‑built World Cup trophy in a promotional video.
“You must be going crazy…” or are you? It starts as a casual conversation with two friends, then plot twist, the “friend” isn’t real.
It’s weird, it’s funny, and it works – a reminder that audiences aren’t always looking for polished content, they’re looking for something that feels human.
