Last night, everyone was shocked when Marty Supreme left the BAFTAs with zero awards despite their 11 nominations.
But the shock didn’t end there, as Robert Aramayo brought home the award for ‘Best Leading Actor‘ for his role in ‘I Swear’, a category that he was sharing with Leonardo DiCaprio and Timothée Chalamet, among other big names in the industry!
‘I Swear’, a film that tries to raise awareness of Tourette’s, also won in the ‘Best Casting’ category, and Aramayo was celebrated once more by winning the EE Bafta Rising Star Award, a category that is voted by the public.
As a film that highlights a disability that is incredibly misunderstood in society, it was fantastic to see all the accolades it received last night, and we hope people become more and more accepting and understanding of this condition 💜.
Also, BIG shout out to ‘This is Endometriosis’ that won ‘Best British Short Film’!

Following TikTok’s ‘PineDrama’, Instagram seems to be working on a similar feature that will allow creators to upload ‘mini-dramas’ on the app.
While this is speculative, and Instagram hasn’t announced anything yet, it could be a powerful tool for filmmakers, videographers and artists, creating content on the Meta app.
Your next binge-worthy show could be closer than you think 👀

‘Hold My Hand’ is LumoTV new dating show, but it’s not what you might be used to..
The show is the first-ever dating show on BSL (British Sign Language), and all contestants are Deaf or CODAs (Children of Deaf Adults), who have used the language in their daily life. And the presenters are Deaf creators and twins, Hermon and Heroda Berhane.
You can tell how much thought has been put into this show, and how the community has been involved from the very beginning, which is how you can see the best results!
A first of its kind and a must-watch 🙌

Whatever it is that you don’t like, this trend gives you an opportunity to share it 👀

Yes, we’ve already shared our love for Bad Bunny’s performance and celebration of the Latino community, but we had to share Apple’s ‘Shot on iPhone’ campaign after the SuperBowl.
While this type of campaign has been done already by the tech brand, this time it felt even more powerful. People across the world dancing and celebrating, highlighting once again the diverse representation and beautiful message that the artist and his team sent during the halftime show.
It has to have our special mention this week!
