A new season of the acclaimed Netflix show is now available, and if you loved the show before, you’re going to love it even more after we tell you what we saw π
Deaf representation has been present in other seasons, but it was great to see it again this time with a couple promenading while signing in BSL. And that’s not all, we are also introduced to a maid with an upper limb difference!
For those characters, their disabilities aren’t defining them, they just happen to be Disabled. And that’s the magic of authentic representation.

Another great representation example!
The latest storyline in Peppa Pig’s TV show introduces her brother, George, as being Deaf, which is incredibly exciting to see on a mainstream show, and it’s especially important for Deaf children across the country.
As we always sat at PG, nothing makes inclusion better than working with the community! The show actually partnered with the National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) on the storyline to ensure their portrayal was truly accurate π
And to add to this exciting news, Gladiators’ star Jodie Ounsley, who was born Deaf, will be playing George’s audiologist in the series.
When you have the right people in the room, the results get even more powerful.

New opportunities to reach bigger audiences are now available on YouTube!
Whether you’re a creator or a brand posting on the platform, the app is expanding its auto-dubbing feature to all users, becoming capable to translate 27 different languages.
This is especially interesting for brands working globally, and creators anywhere in the world reaching new audiences regardless of what language they speak in!
We’re back with some more EGC ideas this week!
This time is all about talking about the generational mix in your office. You could change it from the current trend and add an image that represents the year the person was born in, or switch things completely and highlight how young you think people are if their year starts with a ‘2’ π΄πΌ.

With the SuperBowl happening last night, we needed to highlight our favourite ad from the evening! π
Unfortunately, these ads are not known for being particularly inclusive.., so if you’re a brand wanting to have an exciting ad in the next SuperBowl, why don’t you reach out to us? π
But back to the best one this year, it has to be Unilever’s Dove, based on the insight that ‘1 in 2 girls that leave their sport get criticised for their bodies’. The film tries to highlight the importance to change beauty standards and the benefits sports bring to girls everywhere.
We also loved the casting for the ad, incredibly diverse, and we even spotted a girl with Down Syndrome practising martial arts!
Also, shout out to Bad Bunny for celebrating his culture in such a big stage π΅π·.
