Gaming is for everyone…or is it?
While the industry seems welcoming for many, still today 81% of Disabled gamers face barriers when playing.
The team at Purple Goat visited the accessible Virgin Media Gamepad at The O2 to shine a light on this conversation and provide solutions for brands in the industry. So whether you’re a gamer yourself, interested in accessibility and inclusion, or are a brand in the space, this is the video for you!

We went to the DMA (Data & Marketing Association) UK Awards last week, and we were so pleased to see EY Foundation take home gold in the ‘Inclusive Marketing’ category!
As judges of the category and diversity partners of the awards, we loved seeing the lived experience in this ad about free school meals, both in front of and behind the camera.
Massive congratulations to everyone involved ๐

The Meta team are working hard to make the platform more appealing to creators, this time they are trying out early access reels. This is a potential new feature that would allow creators (and brands) to share video content specifically to their followers.
If someone comes across the video on their explore page, they will be prompted to follow the creator to be able to view the Reel, creating a sense of belonging and playing on the theory that scarcity means more valuable.
This could definitely be an interesting move for Instagram, but would users get annoyed by that sort of content popping up on their screens? What do you think? ๐ค
For this year’s IDPD (International Day of Persons with Disabilities), we wanted to highlight the importance of progress over perfection, and we put together some of our favourite inclusion highlights of 2025!
Is your favourite highlight included in the video? Let us know!
..say your stupid line.
This is not about saying your most foolish quote, but rather to see who can relate to something that you’re well known for saying. Even Hailey Bieber has shared hers ๐

We love it when brands create an ad featuring disability that is both progressive and fun.
Apple has released a new ad called ‘I’m not remarkable, I’m just a student’, with the same director as their iconic ‘The Greatest’ ad from a few years ago. The video showcases Disabled students and how they use Apple’s accessibility features in their lives.
It’s a fantastic example that highlights the importance of accessibility, not just in Apple’s products, but across all tech! You should definitely give it a watch.
