TikTok creator, Jeremy Andrew Davis, recently shared a skit where he was demonstrating what the world would look like if we got rid of DEI. People might be surprised what would disappear: keyboards, texting, touch screens, and so much more.
Since there is a lot going on in the DEI world, this video showcased how much the world would actually change if we ignored disability inclusion.
Our advice? Don’t ignore the largest minority in the world.

This newsletter wouldn’t feel the same without an Instagram update. This time, the platform is testing individual likes for each carousel frame, with the aim to provide users with more clear insights to what their audience likes. Even though this wouldn’t make a massive impact on users, it could be interesting to see how it might improve post performance.

It doesn’t matter if we still have five months to go, Pinterest is ready with this year’s holiday guide. But as research suggests, consumers are buying earlier and earlier, with some starting in July and August, so it would be good to get your marketing campaigns ready now. And if Pinterest is one of your chosen platforms, make sure to download their guide, as it includes campaign tactics, recommendations and brand success stories.

Meet ‘Sophie’, Primark’s newest mannequin, co-created with disability advocate and TV presenter, Sophie Morgan. This launch is part of Primark’s ongoing commitment to disability inclusion, following their adaptive collection earlier this year.
Super exciting news coming from the fashion industry, and we hope more brands look at Primark’s inclusion and accessibility moves and follow suit!

Buffer has analysed millions of posts to give some insights as to what type of content performs best on social media. It’s important to note though, that this data might not make sense with your own stats, as every audience is different. But it’s interesting to see how videos are still number one on TikTok, even after the introduction of carousels, and even though Reels create the most reach, carousels are actually the ones that people engage the most with on Instagram.
This could be an interesting report to go through to understand what content to focus on for each platform.
Even though this trend has been used by fashion creators across the world, you can make it your own based on your niche. “Sorry I’m late, I was smashing my client’s meeting” or “Sorry I’m late, I was obsessing over our new collection”.

Carers Trust and Uncommon Creative Studio have created a first-of-its-kind campaign to feature unpaid carers’ stories. Instead of the usual protest, they used huge LED screens showing carers from their homes, highlighting the lack of breaks they have. This powerful campaign caught the attention of MPs, with the issue being brought up in the House of Parliament!
