Breaking into the US market is difficult for any fashion brand. For Guidi, the challenge was even greater.
The Italian luxury shoemaker had built a devoted global following through craftsmanship, scarcity and word of mouth, but needed to increase awareness among American audiences without compromising the avant-garde identity that set it apart.
Guidi is renowned for its handcrafted leather footwear and sculptural designs, earning cult status within the world of avant-garde fashion. As the brand looked to expand in the United States, the challenge was clear: how do you market €1,500 shoes without losing the authenticity and exclusivity that make them desirable?
Loud endorsements, discount codes and overly commercial content would have diluted the understated aesthetic that defines the brand.
Rather than disrupting the its identity, we leaned into it.
We partnered with a carefully curated group of fashion creators and tastemakers whose visual languages aligned with the world of avant-garde style. Each creator had a highly engaged audience and a personal aesthetic that complemented Guidi’s minimalist approach.
The content strategy focused on authentic fashion storytelling rather than overt promotion. Through in-feed posts and Stories, creators showcased how Guidi boots and shoes naturally fit into their wardrobes, allowing the products to speak for themselves.
There were no affiliate links, no exaggerated endorsements and no forced calls to action. Instead, we embraced the codes of luxury fashion marketing, creating understated content that felt native to both the creators and their communities.
By respecting the values of the avant-garde fashion space, the campaign achieved cultural relevance without relying on traditional advertising techniques.
Minimalist styling content drove awareness and brand affinity, while Stories encouraged discovery and engagement. More importantly, creators embraced the brand beyond the scope of the campaign, organically incorporating Guidi into their own style narratives.
The result was a creator marketing campaign that demonstrated how authenticity and restraint can be powerful tools for luxury brands.
The campaign exceeded expectations, delivering scale, cultural relevance and sustained momentum for Guidi’s expansion into the US market.
By avoiding conventional influencer marketing tactics and staying true to the brand’s DNA, we earned genuine engagement from a notoriously hard-to-reach audience. The work proved that, in luxury fashion, doing less can often mean achieving more.
