Meet the Team

The Purple Goat team is formed of a growing and incredibly talented group of marketeers, working tirelessly to help progress the representation of disability in marketing and communications.

Martyn Sibley
CEO & Co-Founder

Martyn has spent the last 10 years working at the forefront of disability inclusion, social media marketing and entrepreneurship. 
He has carved out a unique space in accessible tourism (selling his accessible travel business, accomable, to airBnB), written a book and built his successful podcast series’ Xceptional Leaders and the Martyn Sibley Show, with guests including Dame Tanni Grey Thompson, Sarah Storey and Apple’s Alan Brightman.
At the start of 2020, Martyn partnered with the world leading influencer marketing agency Goat to create Purple Goat, heading up the team as CEO.

Dom Hyams
Head of Strategy

Dom Hyams is a media professional who consults and educates internationally on a range of topics including diversity, inclusion and accessibility. He was born with a severe form of Osteogenesis Imperfecta (Brittle Bones).
Dom’s career started in TV as a producer at Sunset+Vine, working across varied sporting output including Channel 4’s groundbreaking Paralympic coverage in 2012 and 2016.
Dom joined Purple Goat as Head of Strategy at the beginning of 2021. He is the founding editor of the Disability Power100 - Power List of Disability

Harriet Carroll
Senior Campaign Manager

Harriet is a marketing professional with a range of sector experience. Upon graduating in HR & Business and Marketing Management from De Montfort University, she relocated to Barcelona to join TripAdvisor as a UK Sales and Marketing Specialist where she lived for almost two years before heading onto Dublin working freelance at a Digital Marketing agency, working closely with Start-up companies, supporting with their product launches and full funnel strategy.
Harriet started her Purple Goat journey in 2020 and joined the team as the third employee - she now heads up the Campaign management team and works closely with our portfolio of clients.

Dani Roberts
Campaign Manager

Dani is a Campaign Manager with a background in Entrepreneurship. After graduating with a MA in Entrepreneurship and International Business, she created a fitness app for disabled people due to her struggles of trying to find accessible workouts that she could participate in herself. 
After meeting Martyn and becoming Purple Goat’s first client, Dani then started freelancing for Purple Goat before joining the team permanently in March 2021.

Gina Twelftree
Senior Campaign Executive

Gina is a Senior Campaign Executive with a background in Social Media Management and Content Creation. She started in Digital Marketing and developed her skills through freelance Content Creation that aims to break down stereotypes of disability and improve representation in lifestyle, fitness and relationship sectors.
Gina started at Purple Goat in May 2021, and has continued to work on exciting campaigns that challenge the assumptions of disabled people

Alex Rodrigues
Senior Campaign Executive

Alex is a Senior Campaign Executive, with a background in fashion design and marketing. Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa with BA Degree in Fashion she’s worked alongside amazing South African talent creatives from influencers, designers, bloggers, photographers and videographers.
She started her own successful womenswear brand in 2017, Sunkissed Clothing SA, and has a unique eye for detail and precision. Independently running her own business exposed her to the world of entrepreneurship.

Olivia Aujla
Campaign Executive

Olivia is a Campaign Executive, with a background in political science, talent representation and media. 
Olivia graduated from the University of Sussex with an MA in Corruption & Governance, specialising in racial justice issues. She then began her career working in digital marketing as a Campaign Executive for a D&I Marketing Agency, specialising in campaigns featuring ethnic and religious minorities, before joining us at Purple Goat.

Bobbie Solkhon
Campaign Executive

Bobbie is a Campaign Executive with a background in Affiliate marketing and Event management. Bobbie graduated with a First Class BA Hons in Event Management from University College Birmingham. She began her career in Affiliate Marketing for a popular beauty retailer, specialising in influencer marketing. Alongside this Bobbie also worked as a disabled model where she featured in fashion and beauty campaigns.

Carmen de Castro
Senior Social Media & PR Executive

Carmen joined Purple Goat in December 2021 as a Social Media & PR Executive. She has a background in marketing, social media and media psychology. 
Originally from Spain, she graduated from a BSc in Psychology and decided to pursue a career in media by moving to the UK and completing a MSc in Media Psychology. Throughout her career she showed a passion for diversity, especially in the media and advertising industries, producing several research projects around those topics. Right after graduating, she started working in marketing and social media in the finance and wellbeing sectors.

Josephine Choy
Strategist

Josephine Choy is a Strategist, with a background in marketing, digital and user experience (UX) Design. 
She started in Pharmaceuticals, working on key events in the diabetes and respiratory sectors, educational campaigns and brand strategies.
Since graduating from the University of Liverpool, Josephine has worked on rebranding and digital campaigns surrounding mental health and psychotherapy, as well as projects in web design and content creation.

Luke Trower
Junior Designer

Luke Trower is a Junior Designer who graduated from Loughborough University with a BA in Graphic Communication and Illustration. Luke spent his free time at university working on student-led campaigns across campus that covered a wide range of welfare and diversity topics, which led to him specialising in accessible graphics. For his work, he won numerous awards, both academic as well as within the DE&I sector.
