Welcome back to our weekly recap of marketing news, including exciting social media updates, important disability and inclusion related news, and our favourite marketing campaigns.
In this week’s inclusive marketing news round up, we talk about some very exciting disability related news at Cannes, the first ever co-branded product between Pinterest and Emma Chamberlain, as well as the fantastic activation that Currys put together for the Pitbull concert in London!
If you want to be like some of these brands, and be known for your amazing inclusive work, or you want to start your inclusion journey, contact us today. You can also subscribe to our LinkedIn newsletter to be up-to-date with the latest news.

After its launch a few months ago, it seems like trial reels are becoming the hottest strategy on Instagram.
Meta has announced that after trying this feature, 40% of creators started posting reels more often, and of those, 80% saw an increase in reach from non-followers.
So if you haven’t tried it yet, what are you waiting for?!

Cannes was last week and we’re still recovering from all the amazing things that happened there (make sure to check out our daily recaps on LinkedIn 🕶️), but one that we needed to highlight here was the brand new ‘Nothing Without Us’ Awards by Valuable 500!
The aim with these is to celebrate campaigns that lead the way in authentic disability representation, and we’re VERY excited about this 🙌
Mr Worldwide was touring the UK recently, and the team at Currys smashed it with this video where they’re promoting their new worldwide adapters among his fans 🌍

We know the power of influencers, but this is a next level collaboration from Pinterest! The team has worked with influencer Emma Chamberlain to launch her newest Chamberlain Coffee product, a limited edition ‘Sea Salt Toffee Flavoured Blend‘. Emma used the platform to gather visual inspiration, which was heavily influenced by the emerging trend ‘fisherman aesthetic’.
This trend has been circling our FYPs and truly matchas, coffees, sweet treats are always a must with or without the money to spend! 🤭

The warm weather is here, and with that comes the reminder to wear SPF every-single-day (yes, even when it’s cloudy). We loved the British Skin Foundation campaign showing in real time what the sun does to your skin, shifting the mindset around sun safety. A super powerful billboard 🧴
The Purple Goat Podcast keeps going strong, and our newest episode was all about the return on investment of inclusive marketing. I know, it might not seem like the most exciting topic for you to listen to during your hot girl walk, but at PG we don’t do boring, so of course we added a bit of spice to it.
